Welcome

Welcome to the Reply and Review Collective — a noble experiment indeed in developing the practices of social epistemology.

There is a new page for our first project: Review Project 1, Intellectual and SIL. As of now, it is not listed on the left side of the main pages (one must click on List All Pages to see it). For some reason, I am having trouble making a direct link to the page from this paragraph. I (WD) recommend we use this page for our ideas on this first project unless it seems we are creating too many additional pages. What do you think?

If you want to introduce yourselves with a a bit more grace than my e-mail provided, and how could you not be more graceful, I've created a profiles page.

Let me pitch the following to start — and you can take this idea for what it is, or is not, worth — might you wish collectively, to develop a statement — a statement of purpose, editorial statement, mission statement — that articulates your principles (the normative being of particular concern) and outlines what you take the range of your duties or obligations to be? As a point of departure you can look at the original statement of purpose located on the Resources page. See also Fuller's article ("On Regulating What Is Known", 1987) that would become the first chapter for his book, Social Epistemology.

Please take a look at the page Mission Statement for some ideas on how we will begin the process referenced in the preceding paragraph (wd). On a side note, should we include our initials after comments, changes, etc. that we make to this site to let each other know who does what?

There is now a page for Brainstorms — 1 — for any ideas you may have, however tentative.
